Delphi Project Foundation programs take place both during and after school, offering students a stimulating, safe and supervised place to gather. The programs provide students with a structured outlet to express themselves through art, dance, filmmaking, and other forms of creative expression. Delphi Project Foundation is committed to bringing exceptional arts experiences into the Philadelphia public schools. The Delphi Project Foundation is recognized as an Educational Improvement Organization by the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development.
Delphi Project Foundation partners with extraordinary, world-renowned cultural institutions such as The Philadelphia Museum of Art, Pennsylvania Ballet and The Philadelphia Zoo, to introduce the arts to Philadelphia’s public school students. Delphi Project Foundation provides innovative arts education and career training programs that increase accessibility to the arts, promote cultural expression, and strengthen the fabric of the community.
Since 1996, tens of thousands of teens have benefited from Delphi Project Foundation’s cultural outreach programs. These programs in both the visual and performing arts build self-esteem, enhance awareness of career opportunities in the Arts and help to develop critical thinking skills. In fact, recent research suggests that Arts education can improve student performance in intellectual and academic areas, including math and science.
